Hello fellow Steemians and Happy Independence Day! I read a post earlier where a prepper friend of ours was strong in many areas but admittedly weak in medical related subjects. I hope someone finds this information useful because it's often an overlooked area of prepping and homsteading that could actually save a life, if not your own.
A couple of resources that I use:
- A book chock full of great info that can be used as a grid down reference called, "The Survival Medicine Handbook: A Guide for When Help is Not on the Way "
- The nurse on this channel has bona-fide experience in third world countries treating medical conditions after SHTF. Make sure you take a look at her older stuff about medical supplies, prescriptions, antibiotics, etc. I seriously think she'll be joining us here on steemit soon and will become extremely popular very quickly (I'm thinking whale potential folks).

I am going to keep this brief but would like to have a two-way discussion with you on this topic so feel free to reply with comments and/or additional resources you use to accomplish the mission.
