The @survival-archive account was created a few months back as an archive page for useful PDFs & books you can download and save on your computer or mobile devices. I will be encouraging you to download them because it is better to have them saved than stored online. I will also be encouraging you to purchase solar products which can power your device so that no matter what is happening in the world, you will always have access to this information.

Where am I at with this project?
I have just finished my huge solar film so am able to return to this project now with the right energy. Check it out for yourself and you will understand why it has consumed me so much for the last 8 months.
Yesterday I put in my final invoice and today I am up early (as usual) but with a new feeling. Something like FREEDOM!
And it feels good :)
The stumbling block
Turning my attention back to the creation of this archive I see that the main stumbling block is the age of my computer's operating system. I would like to host the PDFs themselves on LBRY because it offers decentralised blockchain security and freedom from potential malware/spyware, but my operating system is too old for me to download the LBRY application used for uploading the PDFs.
Can anyone help me resolve an OS fear?
It is possible for me to upgrade my Mac Pro Yosemite operating system to Sierra but I have this fear that I am going to kill my computer if I do this. Not exactly sure where this fear is coming from? My computer has been pushed very hard on a daily basis since 2014 with two years in a very hot & humid Indonesia.
Perhaps my fear is unjustified? Has anyone had experience with this particular upgrade?
Once I get this resolved I will begin uploading the 100s of PDFs & books I have already collected. I will then share a LBRY link for each book as a post, ready for you to download.

I have been downloading like crazy since I discovered this site. Seems almost too good to be true!
One thing to bear in mind however is that I cannot guarantee its safety in terms of malware & spyware.
What was the most interesting book I found yesterday?
I came across an English gardener by the name of Charles Dowding who is famous for his low maintenance 'no dig' system. He regards the soil itself as a living organism which should be disturbed as little as possible. I really like his way of thinking... and his results are stunning. So I downloaded one of his early books which covers everything I need to know.
Needless to say... I will be sharing this and many other goodies with you as soon as I can.
