SweatCoin is an application that incentivizes exercise by paying users for the outdoor steps they take throughout the day. Once you download the SweatCoin app, your steps are logged and you receive a digital currency called 'SWC' for the amount of steps you take. For every 1,000 steps, you receive 1 SWC (minus 5% fee).

Once you accumulate SWC's you can use them to make a purchase in the SweatCoin marketplace, or you can send them to a charity or friend. SweatCoin is not like the traditional digital-currencies. Currently it does not utilize a blockchain, although the developers may be looking into incorporating blockchain-tech in the future. The supply is inflationary and there is no maximum amount of SWC's that can be created. Just go for a walk outside and earn some SWC's!
