I have been guilty of expecting a systemic collapse. For months the monkeys and weasels have been furiously chasing each other around the economic mulberry bush jungle. So many monkey... so very many weasels. 
I believe a reset must occur soon. The global debt service can’t possibly be maintained. The systemic confidence in the dollar is doomed.
When confidence in the value of the fiat dollar is gone, the value of ‘real’ assets will spike. This desire for ‘reality’ will include cryptos. Blockchain provisions usually require an open and honest ledger. Not all blockchains are the same.
Those blockchains with historical behavior will be quickest to jump. This gives big names the advantage with public participation.
I believe physically held precious metals will also spike... as confidence in fiat currencies and the banking institutions who set their values fail. Deutsche Bank value is currently being propped up to maintain the illusion of normal system operation.
If banking institutions are the monkeys, and central banks are the weasels, which will stumble and fall first. When one falls; all will stumble.
And all the kings horses and all the kings men...
The point is... aware individuals can prepare for the coming systemic fall.
