Today I had the opportunity to go up to the roof of the building where I live, and I could see the enviable view that the inhabitants of my building have of the city of Caracas.
It was also very interesting to see the visual contrast that my building offers over the city, since if you look towards the front of the facade you will find the spectacular view of downtown Caracas and in the background, to complete the visual image, you can see the Avila National Park which was renamed Wairara Repano, which means "Sierra Grande" in the language of the Caracas Indians, belonging to the Caribbean Indigenous Ethnic Group, who originally inhabited what is now the Valley of Caracas.
On the other hand, when looking towards the back of the building, we find one of the best known popular sectors in the country, which is the Cota 905.
Another of the most interesting points to highlight, is that you can see the enormous amount of trees in the city, even in the center of the capital, which allows that in certain areas of the city, such as the sector El Paraiso where I live, you can see a huge number of birds, ranging from herons, hawks, pigeons, vultures, parakeets and macaws, which you can hear and see when walking through this area.
Actually I think that instead of describing the city, the best thing to do is to show the pictures, since a picture speaks more than a thousand words.

I share with you the images of Caracas from my rooftop.
El día de hoy tuve la oportunidad de subir a la azotea del edifico donde vivo, y pude ver a plenitud la envidiable vista que tenemos los habitantes de mi edifico de la ciudad de Caracas.
También fue muy interesante ver el contraste visual que ofrece mi edificio sobre la ciudad, dado que si uno mira hacia el frente de la fachada se encuentra con la espectacular vista del Centro de Caracas y al fondo, para completar la imagen visual, se observa el Parque Nacional el Ávila al cual le cambiaron el nombre por el de Wairara Repano, que significa “Sierra Grande” en el lenguaje de los Indios Caracas, pertenecientes a la Etnia Indígena Caribe, que originalmente habitaban en lo que hoy es el Valle de Caracas.
Por otro lado, cuando se mira hacia la parte de atrás del edificio, nos encontramos con uno de los sectores populares más conocidos en el país, que es la Cota 905.
Otro de los puntos más interesantes a resaltar, es que se puede ver la enorme cantidad de árboles que hay en la ciudad, aún en el centro de la capital, lo que permite que en ciertas zonas de la ciudad, como el sector El Paraíso donde vivo, se pueda ver una enorme cantidad de aves, que varían entre las garzas, los gavilanes, las palomas, los zamuros, las paraulatas y las guacamayas, las cuales puedes oír y ver cuando se camina por esta zona.
En realidad creo que en vez de describir la ciudad, lo mejor es mostrar las fotos, dado que una imagen habla más que mil palabras.
Finalmente comentar que todas las fotos de mis post, cuando se refieren al tema de la fotográfico, son de mi autoría a menos que indique lo contrario, cuando las publique en el post.
