I've seen Hidden Colors 1-3; need to see 4; Need to see the 1804 film; that HC5 is on the way; and now he's decided to take on a topic - that not enough of us know about; he did go over this in Hidden Colors 1; a clip from that film went viral that goes into what REALLY happened to our ancestors. The history books gloss over it. But when you really research this, and come to find just what happened, EVERYTHING going on today makes sense.
Black people have been through real trauma in this land; and no efforts have been made to help black people heal; Even in Churches and places where blacks COULD attempt to heal; Damaged black people always show up; and disrupt the party; Because these horrid things happened to our ancestors; and became traditions - and ways of life - So when I hear people object to Reparations; I realize the ignorance is strong in them; especially when those people are black. America owes us a great debt .... so much REPAIR is needed; still.
Some might say well this didn't happen to you; But again, that's ignorance; Educated people will see how it STILL happens to black men to this day; There are different ways of accomplishing the same outcomes; and yet if you do not understand the origin, you won't make the connections --- Ignorance is not our friend. The more you know, the more you can help others - without knowledge, we are useless.
