After so much walking through the streets of the city of Naples, we stopped for a well-deserved break at the Bar Carbone. Located at the end of the road called Spaccanapoli, the bar is in a strategic position, placed at an angle and in a tourist area.
We sat at a table near the bar entrance, on a very simple wooden table and wooden chairs too. We ordered some sugary drinks to recover some energy consumed during the day.
In the square beyond the road, further tables and chairs are arranged and it was difficult to find a free table. The strategic location of the bar gave us the tranquility to observe the magnificent church of San Paolo Maggiore.
The bar is also a good pastry shop that offers many local desserts such as babbá, riccia and frolla. The bar is small inside but very comfortable and clean. A really nice place to rest and enjoy some good drinks.
