My weekly choice entry -双囍冰室 Double Happiness Restaurant

So in this weekend we went this this resturant to have our dinner and also celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary.

This resturant use slow cooked meat as its signature dishes. Well we haven't never tried this kind of cooking method so we decided to give it a try.

It got set dinner or just select them one by one, unfortunately the set dinner menu does not have english translation, but the staff there would like to translate it for you so no worries~

So we ordered a Large platter , which included 5 dishes at the same time. Also we added soup,drinks and appetizer for each of us by adding 5 USD per person

Freshly deep fried french fries, using sweet potato to cook unlike usual potato fries.

This is the best dishes of the night i think , its 800 degree cooked German Pork Knuckle. Its skin is crispy with flavoured soft meat, not to mention its rich collagen under the skin.

This is the set dinner ordered by my sister, which is Grilled slow cooked beef with clam Risotto, this tasted quite good.

This is grilled slow cooked newseland lamb, i think it is a bit overcooked.

This is whitewood smoked Tenderloin Steak, i prefer heavy flavour of cow , however I could only taste little bit of smell of white wood.

This is mussels cooked with tomato and lemongrass. This taste quite good , the mussels is fresh and sweet and cooked just into the point of perfect, there might be some seaweed tho.
