We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and here in the Philippines rice is the most important part of the meal.
Few weeks ago, Saturday in particular, we had our late breakfast at Zark’s Burgers located at the ground floor of SM Lucena City.
Zark’s Burgers was originated at Taft Avenue, Manila in 2009. A fast food chain popular for homegrown fresh, huge, great burgers and basically serves American comfort foods in very affordable price.
Well, instead of having the delightful huge greasy burgers I had...
Signature Burger Steak Garlic Mushroom, a rice meal topped with huge pure burger patty on a generous mushroom gravy with toasted garlic sprinkles. It’s definitely delicious, the gravy is not over powering and the burger steak is juicy, tastes really fresh.
My companion got this Chicken Fingers with rice, fried chicken meat coated on crispy breading and spice with sour cream dip. I took a little bite, it is tender and appetizing.
And speaking of appetite, we also have French Fries with another dipping sauce. Tastes real potato, satisfying! Unlike the other french in the local fast food, greasy and seems artificial.
Our breakfast cost about Php 350.00 (7.00 USD) with blue Lemonade and bottled water but excluding the two cups of ice cream that I bought outside from Dairy Queen.
