Alcraft, a British electric vehicle startup, is poised to make their very first car. The Alcraft GT has pretty impressive specs: 300 miles range on the base model, and 0-100 kph in 3.5 seconds. However, those same specs come with a hefty pricetag of 130,000 to 145,000 pounds.
In fairness, there are no guarantees that this car gets built. The company is still looking for crowdfunding, which makes their 2019 production plan seem ambitious. However, the initial production run only consists of 15 units, which makes getting off the ground easier. Unlike Lucid and Faraday Future, Alcraft is not aiming to build a massive factory and begin mass production instantly.
