Erno Rubik invented Rubik's cube in the year 1974 and it took him a whole month to solve it by himself!
The cube's name in the beginning was "The Magical Cube" but it was changed to "Rubik's cube" in 1980 in order to sell it worldwide.
Here are some facts about the Rubik's cube:
• 350 million cube's has been sold worldwide, making it the most sold game through time.
• a Rubik's cube can be solved in 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 different way
( 43 quintillion ) which means that if there was a cube for every way it would extend to 261 light years the equivalent of going to the sun and back more than 8 million times! Or if you use it to cover the earth it would not only cover it but it would also make 273 layer above it!
• the funny thing is that you can solve the vibe with 20 or less moves, no matter what way you use.
• The current record holder is "Feliks Zemdegs"with the record of 4.22 seconds.
