A few days ago, i had a meetup with several guys from #kkmusicscene folks. These guys are rocking the music scene in steemit from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia. Their groups are expanding and growing steadily coming in from everywhere joining steemit as a way to showcase their work, talent and most importantly to make it as an alternative financing for things they love doing; Music.
I never really had a real chat or proper meetup with them until this time, as matter of fact this must be one of my longest meetup starting from 7.30pm to 1.30pm. However, i was truly happy to spend time with them, to truly get to know them and their love for music.
our conversation throughout the night was more than just steemit, we cover as much as we can, if possible i wanted to stay longer but it was getting really late
We discuss @steempress, @steemhunt, @steemxp, SMT, Teammalaysia, @promo-steem , @steem-ambassador @vornix, current crypto market and include about life in general in particularly their music scene and plans ahead.
When i first met them, i knew had a little hard time to believe if steemit is real, i guess at almost al steemit Bootcamp that i organized, almost everyone who attended is skeptic at first, however over time especially when the got the chance to withdraw their steem to fiat, they end up becoming a believer.
This happens to the music community, the artist community, and all community that we reach out to, I guess that is the beauty of steemit.
I was fund answering all their question and concerns and most importantly, i was happy to see them gets motivated to create content again in steemit.
You see, i see it this way, steemit has value for everyone, but not everyone thinks that steemit would bring value to them. each person that gets into steemit need to finds their niche, their own path or adventure that bring out the best in themselves.
We need to think of it, as an opportunity to write our own history, our own story and create own path in life adventures, whatever it may bring.
Sometime in the future, looking back at all your post, you will be surprised at how truly TALENTED you really are in sharing a story, sharing your adventure with the reader that values them.
I hope to have a meet up with them again some of these days, because I learn the impact steemit gives to music community and some about myself too perhaps to do a huge meetup for teammalaysia sabah. Till then, Steem on.
