So here's the thing.
An insane idea to take a motorcycle and ride from my home in the UK to Vietnam, and hopefully back again.
Leastways, that's the plan.
I'll have a guitar strapped to my back and will hope to post a song or two from various locations en route.
Never done anything remotely like this before, and really have very little notion of what I'm doing, but in true 'Lord of the Rings' spirit I'm going to throw some stuff in a back pack and head off into the unknown.
Like a leather-clad, bike-riding Hobbit.
At the moment I'm getting all the paperwork done, (something Frodo never had to do) and trying to work out a route, with a plan to set off in three weeks or so..
Don't know how far I'll get.
They may take a dislike to me at the first border crossing, and that will make for a very short adventure indeed, but I thought I'd start a blog for any that might be interested in my progress, or lack of it.
So this is my 'Hello' and 'Welcome to the Vlog'.
I'll update this as I go along.
