Well obviously, I'm sick and I super hate it.
I'm really so sad today. My body is so weak, so hot that I can hardly move and be away from bed since I have a terrible headache.
I wasn't able to attend my class today and I was worried about my pupils at school. I was worried if they were able to go home safe after knowing that I was not around. I was worried that something bad might happen to them while going home since the blame will be put to the teacher and the school. Yes, that's a sad thing and it is the truth. Teachers are always being blamed in whatever bad things that happen to her pupils.
What makes me more sad is that I am not able to carry my baby in my arms the whole because of my condition. I miss my baby terribly even if I am just here at home.
I guess this is because I overworked myself from too much paperworks. I was abusing my body on doing so many tasks at the same time because we are targeting a deadline for so many reports which will be presented on the upcoming evaluation which will be this coming 14th of March. I still have so many things to accomplish but all of my works has been stopped due to my condition.
It's just a good thing that I have my loving husband with me. He didn't go for work today just to take care of me. How sweet of him, right?
I'm really thankful for having a husband so great as him.
As of now, I feel a little bit better because I took some meds. I am actually having some second thoughts on taking meds because I am still breastfeedingmy baby. However, I need to feel okay again so fever reducers will do and simple over-the-counter drugs.
Haaaaays...I really do hope I will regain my strength by tomorrow. I really need to be okay for my kids, my pupils at school and my own self as well.
Lesson Learned:
DO NOT OVERWORK YOURSELF TOO MUCH!
Your mind may take it but your body will suffer. Learn to love your health. It is good to be dedicated to your work. But you should not take your health for granted.
