Its no news that Android updates it's OS,(operating system) almost every year….actually I think their updates are getting overrated and washed up. This year rumors have been making rounds about their latest OS, Android 8.0 which will be officially called Android Oreo or Android O. Oreo which is also the name of a popular chocolate and cream cookie was announced yesterday at a solar eclipse event in New York, USA.However, the Android O updates will start rolling out obviously on Google Pixel , Pixel and Nexus smartphones in the coming weeks.
One of the most noticeable improved features of the new OS is the battery life. Android O’s running background apps such as WIFI and GPS location have been optimized to save more data and further increase battery life and free up more RAM in a device. This in turn will improve the speed boost and optimization of the device.
Another new feature worth taking note of is the picture in picture mode. It might not work with a lot of apps now but it’s a feature I am sure that app developers would want to support in the nearest future. The picture-in-picture feature will allow users perform two tasks simultaneously on a device. They can video call or watch a video and work on a different apps in the background at the same time using this mode. From there you can move it around the screen, close it out, or tap to launch the app again just like Facebook floating chat bubble. I think this is pretty cool.
Over all I don’t think there’s a lot of change from Android N, you could check more features out if you’re crazy about Android updates and comment on what you think about the new Android O. Don’t forget to resteem and Upvote !!!!!!!
