Iphone is famous for taking baby steps in adding new features to their smartphones compared to Samsung. Now it's been talking on the web for a while that Samsung will have its first fordable smartphone in 2018. Iphone waits to more years to see what consumers think.
The experts from Wall Street are sure that the American smartphone icon will have its first foldable Iphone by 2020. Two years before their dead line we could ask ourselves the question: do we need such an Iphone?
Depends on the display quality and materials used and in this area Iphone was always a hit. It is already discussing with partners from Asia to find the best of the best for their future "baby". One thing is clear that it will have a big display that we can wrap around around hands and carry around so we won't miss any message.
Last year's rumors were pointing to a collaboration with LG in developing the Amoled foldable screen to fit the project. That could be a great idea since LG has already experience in creating very thin displays used in their TVs.
It this foldable Iphone will see the launch event held by the tech giant than its main plus would be the screen's endurance. Being a foldable one means that it will have also a more resistant material used for the display than the current ones that are all glass on the front and back.
We will have to see though what kind of battery will be fitted on such a device since LI-ION batteries are not that flexible. The price is another important aspect that is still a mystery. Considering that the Iphone X sells at around $1000 depending on the memory capacity we should expect the foldable to be pricier.
