Walton Primo S6 is now available on shopping stores after being launched in Bangladesh a couple of weeks ago. The Primo S6 is an update to the S5, coming with lots of trendy features like the full view display.
Another killer feature on the Primo S6 is the Face ID feature. Walton stressed that you can unlock the device in less than second with your face. Additionally, there’s 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. Lets find out more.
Design
Walton Primo S6 really looks its price, the affordable beauty is absolutely stunning with its curved sides and edges. The rear camera and LED flash are horizontal at the top left corner. The fingerprint scanner is also present just in case.
Turning over to the sides, the volume keys and power button are by the right, while the SIM tray is by the left. The USB 2.0 port is underneath, same with the 3.5mm jack. It measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs just 146g overall, it’s available in Grey, Gold and Blue.
Display
The Primo S6 is nicknamed the Infinity smartphone due to its Infinity display, you get to enjoy a screen with an 19:9 aspect ratio on this one. Walton also made sure the narrow bezels and the top and bottom bezel are super minimal as well.
It’s built around a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with In-Cell technology. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 282 pixel per inch density for amazing visuals. There’s a 2.5D curved glass on top as well.
Hardware and Software
The MediaTek MT6737 64-bit chip is in charge here, although it was built on a 28nm process technology. The 4-Cores of processor here reaches a fast speed of 1.35GHz. Whereas the ARM Mali-720 MP2 clocks at 550MHz.
You get to multitask apps smoothly with the 3GB of RAM, it has a memory speed of 640MHz as well. For storing files, you get 32GB storage space as well and you can upgrade up to 256GB using a memory card. The Walton Primo S6 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
The Walton Primo S6 is equipped with a 13MP PDAF camera which has f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and a LED flash. Other features include BSI, phase detection autofocus, auto face recognition, slow-motion, face beauty, HDR, panorama and professional mode. While the 8MP selfie camera has 4p lens, phase detection, supports fingerprint capture, soft LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, auto face detection, face beauty and Face ID support.
Battery
Powering the Walton Primo S6 is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.4 hours.
