The BBC’s reporter met that hacker who had circumvented protections on Armatix IP1 handgun designed to make it impossible for unauthorised people to shoot.
The Armatix IP1 designed to only fire if the shooter is wearing a special watch. But the hacker has fooled the sytem.
Plore (hacker) says: "so essentially i took a magnet and slapped it on side of a smart gun. i was surprised by how easy it was. but i had expected to spend a more time and effort doing so".
