Again, I am asking how do you feel about technology? Is it your friend or foe?
Personally, I can't wait to try new things. I wish I had the money to try everything I see.
There are ups and downs, of course, so I'd like to do another article about some of the technology that has become part of everyday life.
The first time I talked about the Smartphone, Streaming Entertainment, and Online Medicine. The second post covered mobile apps, elearning and ways to pay. Now, let's look at ereaders.
- Ereaders

Kindle v Book
Have you ever used an ereader? I use my kindle every night when I read myself to sleep. I love that I don't have to turn pages. The ereader switches itself off when I fall asleep and it keeps my place in the novel.
Some people say it's not like reading a real book. Well, of course it's not but that doesn't make it bad. Why can't we enjoy both methods of reading?
Ereaders can even replace libraries. There are schemes where you can 'borrow' an ebook free of charge. As my local library now charges for reservations so my kindle saves me a fortune.
- Smart Cities
Cornell Internet Blog
A smart city is a place where the authorities collect digital info about their area. They then analyse this data so they can target resources where they are most needed.
Yeah, it does smack of 'Big Brother' but it should be useful as long as the authorities don't abuse it.
There are many more developments. Please tell me about them!
