Nvidia will raise the price of Graphics Cards
According to the latest Digitimes reports, Nvidia will have to raise the price of several of its graphics cards this month.
The specialized media indicates that this is due to problems with the supplies of GDDR5, a type of memory used in graphics cards. For this reason, Nvidia has several problems related to the production of several of its articles, which will increase its price between 3% and 10%.
The report specifies that this increase will be reflected this month and will cover a large part of the Nvidia card alignment. Among the affected products are GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1070, GTX 1060 and even the GTX 1050.
Also, Digitimes assures that the supply problem with GDDR5 memories is due to suppliers like Samsung and SK Hynix reduced their offer in the market for graphics cards of this type.
According to the report, this change in the industry comes from memory manufacturers that are more interested in the standard RAM technology, used in the growing mobile market.
