Hello, today another post for people who want to get into graphic design but don't have the money to buy expansive software. This video will be based on a Youtube video
All credits go to him but I am going to give you a quick list so you can go download it yourself. I figured it might be helpful.
I personally use adobe illustrator (cracked, oops). I have found a program that can upgrade every trial version of adobe to the full version. You can also look that up
but if you want to have a basic software or you just want to get your software legally, here are some programs.
Pixlr
Browser based graphics editor. I have actually used this for my first logo but I just layered schapes from google Images to make the logo. It might come in hande If you want to make a tumbnail on youtube or do some basic photo editing but I personally wouldn't recommand it because it is very limited. Anyways, it can be a good choise just to experience what graphic design is like as I did.

Lightweight graphics editor. I have no experience with it but the maker of the video says that it is easy to use. This one is not on browser but you can download it for free on the site.NOTE: only available for windows

While looking up the program I found out that is now not free anymore. Anyways if you are still interested ,here is al link.

Free open source graphics editor.

I heard this one is the best truely free graphics editor in the video. It only is a little bit more complex and confusing than some of the other options on this list but if you already know a thing or two about graphic design but you don't want to invest in expensive software this is your best option.

These were all programs covered in the video. If you want to know a little more about the programs I'd suggest you watch the video but you can come back here to download them.
