Still, the general needs driving humanity toward the future is nothing new. Goods and services, same as always. The game changer comes from delivery. Here is a short list of an absolute upending of the old ways...
The old way of transportation was the Taxicab they didn't adapt to changing technology so now we have ridesharing with apps like Lyft and Uber. The old way of transportation is further disrupted by the electric car with companies such as Tesla.
The old way of getting a job is quickly becoming work on demand instead with apps like ShiftgigX, Lyft and Uber.
The old ways of exchange for value processing is being replaced by Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitbay and a thousand others.
The old way of generating electricity is coming to an end. Safe, reliable and green technology is currently being implemented with companies like Solar City.
The old ways of health care can actually still be reliable (eat your vegetables) however stem cell technology is being tested on humans and should be widely available in the next 18 months. Implant and cloning technology has also made big advancements.
The old way of getting news and entertainment was the television now the internet has millions of sources. One of the best examples is Steemit!
Life or the way we live life is changing right before our eyes. The promise of technology is to make life better. I want to see the day when there are less jobs and more time to spend with family, friends and doing the things we're passionate about. When I have a 9 to 5 type job, I always like to ask if they can cut my hours in half and double my pay. It doesn't work but neither does working five out of seven days. Those kind of odds wouldn't even fly in Vegas and I certainty don't want them in my life.
