The same company's rival firm, Broadcom's new offer has also returned the chip maker US firm Qualcomm.
On Friday(16 february), Qualcomm said it was open to discuss Broadcom's proposal at a price that offered them 'true value'.
Qualcomm said they had a 'constructive' meeting on 14 February with Broadcom. This is the first meeting between the two organizations, with the $ 12.1 billion offer proposed by Broadcom to buy Qualcomm.
Qualcomm's price has been low in that proposal - Qualcomm has not yet withdrawn from its own idea of publication.
Broadcom has declined to comment on what Qualcomm's future licensing business is about for himself. However, there was no immediate comment on Broadcom's comment on the report.
Qualcomm's representatives have listened to them but they are not involved in the proposal - a report from Reuters reported on Wednesday that the top officials of Broadcom have come out of such a conclusion on February 14th.
