Samsung just unveiled their latest flagship phone the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The phone is basically a refresh of the last year Galaxy S8, filling all the gaps the S8 left and making the S9 almost a perfect smartphone.
The two biggest complaints with the S8 was the placement of the fingerprint scanner and the speaker which is pretty below average. This year the S9 fixes both the problems, fingerprint scanner has been moved to a more easy to use location below the camera where it belongs, and it has now stereo speakers, one is at the bottom like last years's, combining with the ear piece speaker to create a better sound. This left behind the only minor issue which is of small battery, which is unfortunately the same size this year compared to the last year's. S9 comes with a 3000 mAh battery whereas S9 Plus packs a 3500 mAh battery, but with new more efficient chips inside the new phones we can expect better battery life than the last years's phones.

Best Feature:
Biggest Upgrade from the last year's phone is the Camera. Galaxy S9 now have a 12mp f1.5-2.4 aperture camera. This is the first smartphone to come with a variable aperture camera, which means you can change the aperture of the camera depending on the lighting. For example, for bright outdoor shots the camera will automatically switch to f2.4 aperture to get more details, but as soon you walk into low light to camera will change its aperture to f1.5 to allow more light to capture low light images. You can also manually change the aperture in manual mode in the camera, in below Pictures the wide opening is f1.5 Aperture to let more light in, and the narrow opening is f2.4 Aperture for bright shots.
Galaxy S9 Plus has the same main shooter but it also has a secondary telephoto lens, which allows to capture zoomed shots without sacrificing any details. It also has the live focus feature which allows you to blur the background of the picture to create a DSLR like effect.
S9's camera is now capable of recording 4k at 60fps, and slow motion videos at 120 or 240fps at 1080p. It also has a super slow mo video option, where you can record video at 960fps on 720p. But it can only record 0.2 seconds of the super slow mo, which in real time is equals to around 6 seconds.
A lot of AR technology has been built in to camera, you can translate boards, signs etc live through the camera, there is an animoji ripp-off which is called ARemoji in the S9. Bixby vision is also improved where you can scan products through the camera and it will provide you with the information about the product, and also provide you with the link to buy it.
Besides Camera everything else is almost the same. But the Galaxy S8 was already a great phone and S9 improves on that in a lot of things making it an even better experience.
