Are there any 3D printer owners out here?

If so, please comment what printer you have, and your latest project! I am hoping to be a part of the 3D Steemit community and follow you guys to keep tabs on your projects to keep my creative juices flowing.

I own a Tevo Tarantula (Not the Black Widow shown above, but similar)

Could Thingiverse be taken over by Steemit?!

I am new to Steemit, and my first thought was: "Steemit could eventually take over Thingiverse."

I mean, how many of you 3D printing/CAD junkies have spent hours on a really cool part, and gotten nothing for it for putting it out for everyone to use freely? If Steemit were to adopt an easy way to upload .stl files, you could in a round about way get credited for your CAD models.
