After 4 backbreaking, grueling, stressful, and ultimately detrimental years in Military Service, I can say definitively, it helps to have a big team and a bottomless budget (AKA the Govt checkbook). I sacrificed my youth and my Sanity for what was to be awarded later. Precious Wisdom...actually govt benefits that cannot be undervalued.
Let's put it into context...answer these short questions with either....a.... yes.... or no....
- If you were guaranteed to get paid a salary, a minimum each month no matter what..would you take the job?
- If you would receive health care for the rest of your life at no cost to you after your satisfactory 4 year job would you accept?
- If your hours fluctuated, sometimes overtime, sometimes no work required, would you sign up?
- If you knew you had to go to a war zone before hand, would you still agree to the assignment anyway?
- If you were offered free training and the option to improve your seniority within the organization, would you use it?
Alright, if you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should be an entrepreneur. End of story. Thanks for playing along.
