Hola, weekend!
We experienced a strong tremor around midmorning today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that the epicenter was in Luna La Union, with a magnitude of 5.4 (Intensity 4). Our place (Baguio-Benguet), which is a few hundred kilometers away from it, was intensity 3.
The shake freaked me out, and the SMS advisory from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) with the repetitive vibrating emergency alert sound made me feel more terrified. I kept saying "OMG! OMG!"

While earthquakes are a common phenomenon in our country, I can never get used to them. I think no one could. The 1990 earthquake always comes to mind, refreshing the terror we felt back then.
We are thankful today's tectonic shake didn't last long. It shook us for about 10 or 20 seconds (I'm not sure), then it went away. No aftershocks were felt. We are hoping no one was hurt where it was strongest.🙏
Anyway, shifting to a more positive and lighthearted note, it's Saturday, and as usual, it's time to visit numbers.
Last week has been so-so (the word reminded me of an old Chinese friend in the Mariana Islands. Whenever we asked how his day was or how he had been, he would say, "just so-so..." and then laugh heartily). But it was just his way of saying everything was okay. So yeah, my week had been generally OK, and yes, I'm still working toward my goals.
The Savings increased by 21 HBD in the last 7 days and now stand at 1,582. Meanwhile, only 2130 were added to my Sats, ending the week with 169,964. It had a small addition because I paused the recurring plan a few days ago when BTC was inching above $105k. I may reactivate it when the price drops further.

Until then, I will just watch the market and may play small on Perp trading when I feel like it. But then again, it's the weekend, so doing nothing sounds more fun, lol!
Cheers!
