The Prompt
I want to hear a story set at some point in the future, featuring the last forest. Your story could be fantasy, horror, scifi, speculative, environmental, space age - the sky's the limit, as long as your story has roots in the last forest. Who visits the forest, why they visit, where last forest is, why/how is it the last forest, what the forest is like, the wider world in which this is set, that is all up to you. I would like a fictional story set in the future featuring a visit to the last forest. How or why it is the last forest is entirely up to you. This could be the focus of your story, or it can be the background in which your story plays out, let your imagination run wild!
