@hiddenblade got nominated for the "10 Random Facts About" challenge and she just finished it here. She was looking for new victims and decided to nominate me. I don't like challenges, but since she asked me I will share some random things as well. Ah well, she reminded me about the fact that I should post more anyway. I caught @geekpowered saying that in a comment as well, he stated: "doesn't post frequently", and he's right, you're both right. I don't post frequently and perhaps I should post more.

10 random facts about me you probably didn't know.

#1 I rarely watch television.

I don't watch television, movies or series. The only times when I watch TV is when I visit other people, and that's when they have the TV turned on. I do watch anime-series now and then and sometimes docu's on Netflix on my tablet I bought last year. There are a few reasons why I don't watch TV.

#2 I like to take strolls in the woods.

O shit, I ~~like~~ love the smell of forest and wet dirt and leafs. Exploring the woods has always been a thing. I guess it started when I was a kid and used to play in the dirt with my friends. Building treehouses, underground huts made from twigs, leaves, and dirt. Autumn must be my favorite season of the year. You can find me in the forest taking some photographs while it's there.

#3 I have a thing for glassware.

I can spend hours to get the "right" glass for a specific drink. Wine glasses, different cocktail glasses, whiskey glass, long drinks, carafe, measurement cup... water glass... Ok. Shit. It just has to be balanced and yeah.. well... While most of my glassware ended up by giving away since I moved so many times in one year, I still have a few that will break my heart once they break, thus the reason why I gave them away: afraid for them to break into millions of pieces.

#4 I was a guest tutor.

I was a guest tutor once and had to teach students how to pitch. I wasn't sure about it at first since I don't do the traditional pitches myself. The goal was to get the students ready for their pitch for graduation. So, I decided to not teach them how to pitch. Instead, I made them aware when a pitch has started, I taught them some basic psychology and how to stand out during a pitch by being and staying themselves instead of turning to be someone their client wants them to be. The school didn't expect me to teach them that but found it more valuable than teaching them how to pitch.

Fun fact: Most of the students passed their pitch for graduation.

#5 I used to be a sport fanatic.

I started doing sports when I was 6 years old. Gymnastics was the first sport that I enjoyed a lot. Later basketball, badminton, swimming, breakdance and eventually I wanted to become a sports physiotherapist, so I went to college for that, dropped out after hearing that I had to run a marathon and did something creative instead. Now I don't do shit.

#6 I am a cat person.

Yeah, I am a cat person. This is Majin Keiki. I named her after the Majin Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z because of her visible M-mark on her face. Keiki is from an Anime called Juuni Kokuki. Right now, I am accompanied by a cat named Acid. I even have a hoodie with her name on it...*Checks hoodie* Is wearing it right now.

#7 I love rainy days.

When I'm inside, I find rain pretty calming. When I'm outside, I don't care if I get wet, I actually enjoy walking without an umbrella. Especially after a hot summer day, I can enjoy a quick dip in the rain. Oh and storms! I love them. When it starts raining right before bedtime, I can get the best sleep.

#8 I am a nerd.

Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, Board-games, MMORPG's, Shooters, Chess, Anime, Marvel Comics, Math and numbers... You name it, I like it. I probably missed some nerdy traits.

#9 Loner

I can easily disappear for days, weeks or months. I need space to reload.

#10 I can sleep anywhere.

Since I was a kid, it didn't really matter where I slept. Car, plane, train, couch, chair, mid-air, nothing is too crazy, during a conversation? No problem! Usually, when I finish food I end up in a food coma after finishing the plate. Recently, I can succeed in having a food coma while eating, which means: me falling asleep while holding a half-full plate and a roommate who still continues the conversation. #sorrynotsorry.

Q: What is the funniest thing that happened to you in high school?
A: High school was fun, did a lot of stupid things. One time I pretended it was my birthday and bought the entire class hamburgers. Most of my high school friends knew it wasn't my birthday, but some didn't and ended up congratulating me for my birthday. We had a substitute teacher and I wanted to make the class less boring, of course, she had a burger as well.

As for the question: What was the occasion/thing that occured in 2018 that you're grateful for?

My answer: Being able to find gratitude for a lot of things that I've missed in the past. Being able to breathe again and speak up for myself.

So these are 10 random facts about me you might have not known about me... not sure since I am an open book :D.
