That is what some people are saying.
Things have been shady with Tether for some time now and it appears to be getting shadier by the week as Tether parted ways with their auditor who was supposed to prove that nothing nefarious was going on.
That is a major red flag to say the least.
Which probably means that something shady is indeed going on.
The question now becomes how much will it impact markets?
I guess that depends on the degree of the shadiness.
On the whole Tether is only about a $2 billion dollar market, however, it is been very important for some exchanges and I think that is where some trouble could be brewing.
If a couple of the exchanges go down that use Tether, we could see a real hit to prices, though one I would bet bounces back quickly.
If that is the case perhaps we are about to get another buying opportunity in the very near future.
I am ready for it if we do.
