Hello fellow Steemians here is another drawing of mine that I have entered into @deemarshall’s “The Gallery.” What a wonderful post and place that Dee has created for an artists to exhibit there artwork on. I feel it’s always good for an artist to have that extra exposure on what you are creating, it can only be a good thing! I personally have met other artists on this site, that I otherwise wouldn’t have met before, and such wonderful relationships have come out of it, so I urge you other artists to come and display your artwork at this gallery. And also make sure that you bless the other artists with a reply, and upvote on their posts, it’s really worth your time. PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE, that’s what Steemit should be about.
I call this particular portrait “Deviance.”

Divergence from the accepted social norms of behavior. Deviance can be beneficial to society if unorthodox behavior leads to creativity or innovation. Alternatively deviance may be harmful as in the case of crime.

This man is looking through the bars of a jail cell, sentenced to life in prison, maybe even the death penalty. I pray for the ones who are in prison, that they may seek God in repentance for their sins, asking sincerely for forgiveness, knowing that they have been so evil. I pray that these prisoners come to love the Lord, believing that Jesus Christ is their savior, and finding great comfort in it.

My husband @sighmanjestah is providentially reading a book by Charles “Chuck” Colson titled “Born Again”
A short synopsis follows;

This was all digitally drawn with my iPad Procreate App, using graphite pencils. Also on this App is a skin making tool which I used to make his skin look very porous. Also on this particular App, there is a hair tool, for fine, medium, and thick hair stands. It takes some practice to get each hair looking right, but once you’ve got it , it’s smooth sailing from there. When I draw a portrait, I concentrate a lot of my efforts on the eyes. I believe they are the windows to your soul. And I tried very hard to show that this mans soul is very burdened, hardened, angered and evil. I think I captured that fairly well.
