How backwards is it to privatize and commercialize nature? 1st world countries should go and learn from their former socialist neighbours, instead of patronizing them.
Rich countries have been quietly dis-owning their people; most of the things are forbidden unless you pay for them (even most basic needs like a pee!); one has to be able to afford life&leisure, which is getting more and more difficult as wages go down and work hours up.
Squeeeze!
I find more freedom in the former socialist countries of central-eastern Europe. There I've never encountered any restrictions to access nature, drive up a hilltop or a lakeside. I also never felt like a stranger...
Like on this picture, it seems that the land actually belongs to the people.
For now it's not the Golden Age in the 1st world, but the Golden Cage all over again!
