#adoptaminnow Initiative
One of our members in #thealliance, @brandyb, has brought to our attention something started recently by @whatsup. @whatsup decided to adopt @brandyb and show her undying support to help foster a positive experience here on Steemit. I personally think this is a great initiative and if you want more information, go check this post out and let her know your thoughts.
The List
I have added my name to the list as a 'foster parent' as I think it's such a great idea. You can find several members from our family over there, take your pick! Most of them will have or are creating posts similar to this one, that outlines what kind of minnow (if they have a preference) they are looking to adopt. Mine? Please read on.
My 'Ideal Minnow'
My ideal minnow would have to have at least a basic knowledge of how cryptocurrency works as I really do not have time to explain all that. They would also have to be dedicated to making Steemit work. It takes time. Unless you drop 5000 STEEM in right away, it'll take your time invested here to become successful and a profile/someone that people want to follow and vote on. I'm no where near where I want to be, but I do know I'll get there and am willing to show someone else how. They would also have to be willing to join discord AND #thealliance. The Alliance is something I've been fervently building here and have no notion of ever putting that on the back burner. They are my family and family comes first. So, if you can meet those three basic qualifications, I will adopt you. Male, female, I don't care.
