It's my 5th day on Hive, and I'm loving it - the constant drive to just write about everything and anything. I don't have a lot of friends yet but I'm positive it will come with time. Hey, just a quick shout-out: If you wanna be mutual, just drop a follow, and I will always do it back! I wanna have many friends to interact with here~ ^^

It is the #ThoughtfulDailyPost for me today. I promised myself that I would complete posting for all of my subscribed communities. So here is my try on it. Hope you'll find something useful in it!
When I looked up the TDP Posting Guide - which I am very grateful for by the way because it is very detailed - I found a lot of bulleted questions that I'd like to answer. For now, it should be this:
- Spiritual and religious practices are part of so many of our lives. We'd love to hear about the ones that are meaningful to you!
To answer this, I wanted to be upfront by saying that like most of the busy millennials out there, I admittedly don't have much time to reflect. What more a regular time to read the bible... But once in a while, I find verses that fuel my energy to go on in life and through its hardships.

This week, these verses found me when I was in a constant phase of whining or just throwing out there a lot of, "I don't know what to do anymore!"
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
-2 Chronicle 9-10, NKJV
I have known of this verse since I was a child. I probably could quote it as a muscle memory. But really trying to understand for myself what it means made me realize something.
What Apostle Paul was saying is that "he would boast in his weakness, so he can experience God's strength."
It is talking about coming to a point of even when we don't know what to do in our lives, it is okay. We are assured that God knows what to do.
We might be screaming:
I am facing difficulty, and I don't know if I can go on... It is okay, He knows a way.
God, this is so hard I can't do it... Oh wait, that's okay that I can't do it because God, you are gonna infuse me with strength.
And thinking this way made life a little bit bearable for me this week. Acknowledging, that I am but a human who can surrender even my darkest cares to the Lord because He cares about me.

And that's why bible reading is a good way to know what God's message to us is for the day. So even when we are at our wit's end of not knowing. We know He knows.
And that's about my take on this mission to write for TDP, lol. Bible reading is something I should give more time to do so I can know more of these kinds of messages that change mindsets of defeat. We don't have to be the most righteous or religious person to do it. Coz every one of us has burdens bigger than all our strength. It is a great thing to know we have a God who knows just what to do in all situations.
All of His strength and none of mine seems to be a great idea!
