Project #TifaSuperbrain Day 2 | The Sun is up!

I will give you a list of 20 words, and you will be able to memorize all or most of them in order, forward and backward by the end of this article.

Let's start with a quick memory assessment. The video below will show you 20 words in sequence. Jim Kwik calls it The Sun List. DO NOT WRITE THEM DOWN.
Memorize these words and by the end of the video, write down the words IN ORDER.

Now how did you do? Go through the list again by clicking the video link above and count the number of words that you get them right (including the order). Write down the number and circle it.

Now, I will share with you a technique. It's called BASIC ASSOCIATION

Basic Association = logical association between two things

You will be able to read the words in order, forward and backward using Basic Association.

Now, on another piece of paper, write down the words using basic association.
Count the number that you did correctly and write it down, circle it.
Now compare the circled number before and after. How did you do?

Remember, don't look for perfection. Look for progress.

I have tried this method and my results before is 2. I only got 2 words correct in order.
After learning Basic Association, I get all 20 correct! This is a really simple and amazing technique to use, especially for memorizing lists of things.
