Time is precious, and we have to use it right. But people are extremely “talented” at wasting their short time, especially when it comes to something they don’t want to do.
But it is said that we only have one life, so shouldn’t every second of it be valued? Everything that consumes our time should be worth it.
The truth is, time isn’t our best friend. It either goes to fast, or too slow, and at the end it kills us. So what should we do to make it valuable?
Firstly, you need to stop wasting time on unimportant stuff. We all do this, and a great example is when we waste our time being angry about not being able to achieve one target our of 10.
But is one target so important, when you successfully achieved 9 others? Other examples are those people who waste time doing nothing, or those who always complain.
There are so many unimportant things that kill our time. You always have to question yourself:
Is this really important? Is it helpful, do I enjoy it?
If the answer is no, just move on.
When you do something, at least get it right. Focus, give all you have to enjoy a great result at the end, knowing that it was worth your time! If you have work to do, other than being active on Steemit, put your phone on silence and avoid going on social media platforms, otherwise it will take you hours to finish your job and, before you know it, the day will be over.
Here’s a trick, finish fast what you don’t enjoy doing. When you have to do something you don’t like, you probably tend to waste time and to find other things to do. You should always follow this rule:
Start with what you don’t like, and after you’re done, do what you enjoy.
This way, you’ll be more motivated to finish, knowing that at the end of your task you get to do what you love.
