How long has it been?
Was it useful for the days that passed?
Already bring maslahatkah age passed?
Each person has 24 hours. Day rounds of night and day always come to spend the remaining lifespan. Then, are we aware of reduced living quota? Has it become a fruit that can be picked someday? Have we lived the true life?
Says Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyah,
Whoever is the time to walk for God and with God, then that is actually life and age.
Time spent on the call of the Creator as the azan reverberates. Set foot into His house with all hope will get mercy and excitement from Him. Wash the face and all the five senses, hoping the water of ablution merges all sins.
The time spent in the evening prayer: in total silence kneels to the Creator. To ask forgiveness for all mistakes and mistakes. Tears falling for fear of His anger because they are often negligent and forgetful.
The time used to establish the Dhuha prayer: as the sun rises, with the faint chirping of birds and the dew that slowly fades, praises the Creator. Ran a string to the sky hoping the door of sustenance was opened by Him.
Time spent on fasting: restrain eating and drinking and things that can undo it. Feeling hungry and thirsty since reverberating muezzin dawn until evening sunset. To sanctify herself and gain His reward.
Time spent on charity: sharing with others the excess sustenance of the Creator. Trying to entertain people who are deprived even if what is given is not how. However, hopefully with a helping hand, there is a slightly lifted load.
Time spent working: earning a living for the family. Looking for a bite of rice to fill the stomach and make it his right. Pick up in a lawful way to gain blessings from Him.
And all the time spent in obedience, that's the best time we have. The time spent for the good, that can be taken the result someday. Time passed with the Creator is the true life lived. Actually, age is the most meaningful.
Life in the world is like planting a seed, if it is good seed, it will grow and bear fruit. Medium if damaged seed, it will be in vain.
