I know I do a lot of posts about weekly timetables and I'm constantly tweaking them, and sorry here's another one.
But this time it's different: now I'm settled back in Hereford I've got some kind of feel for my new routine and what's going to work, and here's what the current iteration of the timetable looks like:
I'm a bit OCD about even numbers, and having my different daily activities start at say 6.00 or 20.00 makes me happy!
I think what's above gives a nice balance to the days and week with Monday to Friday being mainly intellectual work, that's the idea ATM: to prioritise this, and then with Weekends being mainly about physical stuff - the allotment is something I really enjoy, so that's not really work in my mind!
So the day generally goes:
6.00 - 8.00 is waking up slowly, prepping the day, meditation, walk to the allotment if needed and water.. I like the idea of starting the day with a walk, so that fits in perfectly.
8.00 is my universal starting work time, a long day Monday and long-ish Friday in the co-working space, and then a two thirds day Weds to allow me time to do a circuit sessions.
Tues and Thurs I'll work from home in the morning, to allow me to go for a run: my peak time is around 10.00 to 11.00 and then a quick dash to the coworking space and then some allotmenting in the late afternoon, nice!
Cooking and eating for TWO hours, includes tidying 18.00 to 20.00 and then finishing off the days with either some meditation, yoga, circuits or just plain chilling.
Sat and Sun are really physical, chore and chill days, super flexible, and Sunday rounding off with meditation and yoga.
Overall I like the feel of this timetable and I shouldn't have any trouble sticking to it, it's balanced.
And I've settled on a 6.00 a.m. start as not crazy early, very much in sync with the world, and with a 22.00 bed time it makes max use of daylight hours all year round.
I think this may just be it for a while!
Nice!
