Over the past four years, CryptoArtPH helped pioneer conversations around digital art, NFTs, and Web3 art in the Philippines. Emerging during the early rise of blockchain-based art platforms, it created a much-needed space for Filipino artists exploring crypto art, digital ownership, and virtual exhibitions.
Through key exhibitions such as Shared Humanity in Baguio, Shared Humanity II at Coins.ph HQ in BGC, Paghilom at Luzon Art Fair 2024, Whispers of the Tides at Art Fair Philippines, and Walk With Me during 10 Days of Art in Makati, the collective continued to explore the intersections of art, technology, and community. These projects did not just showcase new media or NFT art. They opened up a deeper dialogue on materiality, memory, and culture in a post-internet context.
Now reemerging as TLYR Collective, we continue this evolution as an interdisciplinary artist collective in the Philippines that supports both digital and physical art forms. TLYR explores how contemporary art, digital culture, and traditional materials can inform each other in a time of rapid technological change. We create opportunities for collaboration between emerging artists and established practitioners, offering space for experimentation, mentorship, and shared production.
Our core commitment is to nurture a sustainable art practice through new media, interactive art, and cross-disciplinary work. We aim to be a hub for Filipino artists exploring digital art, post-internet art, and cultural innovation. TLYR is a platform where artists are empowered to push the boundaries of their craft, respond to emerging technologies, and create with care and intention.
