Well I was watching the latest episode of 'Problem Child in House' today (yep that korean 'quiz' variety show again XD) and have learned something interesting again.
The question was... in verbatim :
"We often make V signs when we take pictures but it's known to be a very dangerous thing to do. It's because there are occasions where this gesture is misused for crimes. Guess why we should not make V signs when we take pictures.
And so the hosts thought that certain hand gestures were considered as an insult in other countries like this hand gesture from Greece:

As interesting as the meaning of those hand gestures are the answer was more surprising. It seems that mobile phone technology is now that advanced that fingerprints in photos can now be copied. Fingerprints that were pictured within 1.5m can be restored by 100% (or so they say) while fingerprints pictured within 3m can be restored by 50%.
Apparently in 2014, a German hacker successfully copied the thumbprint of a German Minister of Defense from just the picture of her giving a thumbsup.
