As expected, US stock markets were way down on Friday. This is significant with 3 of the 4 FANG stocks have reported their Q2 earnings.
Only Apple remains which is due next Tuesday. The earnings itself doesnt matter because there is always a way the media spins it. What is important is that the sentiment has turned to the downside with Facebook and Netflix 10-20% away from their "all time highs" which in my opinion is very artificial one.
I have a relatively large positions on shorting the NASDAQ 100 and longing the VIX. On the Euro, I was right that EURUSD was down after the ECB conference. I am 80% certain it would break 1.15 level and when that happens will be opening a lot to the downside.
Reasons I am documenting my trading. It's an essential part of trading if you ask any experienced trader that trading is not just simply trading, it's analysis, execute and review. Thus writing my trading journal is an important part of the review process.
Secondly is I want to show ordinary people how manipulatively the financial market has become.
