On the way north from Barcelona, I visited Angouleme and discovered the ties with René Goscinny and the third biggest comic book convention in the world, the Angouleme International Comics Festival.
From there I traveled to the small French city of Perigueux, in the Perigord region of Southwest France, and learned about the history of the Cathedral of Saint Front.
