Ever since I first saw Dan's @world-travel-pro page on Steemit, I wanted to meet him. I was fascinated by his lifestyle of long term travel and I wanted to learn all about it. We began to comment on each others posts and then chatted a lot on private message. We found out that we have a lot in common having both grown up on the east coast of the United States and we both have a fondness for Thailand. Thailand is Dan's favorite country in south-east Asia and it is where my wife is from. Dan and I met up in New York City a few months back and we decided that we would do an interview at some point. Last month Dan and I finally got onto Skype and started talking. Well, we ended up talking for over four hours spread out over two days! We recored a lot of that conversation and now I am releasing it over five posts.
