We are on a 2 week holiday in Europe and yesterday was one of the highlights when we visited the Eiffel Tower. It was my first time to go onto the Eiffel Tower and it was amazing!
My wife, Lizette, has been on the Eiffel Tower before with her parent (about 30 years ago), but for me and out 2 kids it was a first.

On our way to the Eiffel Tower
We are staying very close to Euro Disney and took the Metro to Charles de Gaulle station in Paris central. From there we walked to the Eiffel Tower.
The queue to buy tickets are crazy. There are 3 different queues. One for using lifts, and 2 for using stairs. You can also select to go to the summit or stop at floor 2. We selected lifts and to go to the top summit.
Everywhere there are long lines of people so you need to be very patient. One thing I learnt afterwards is that you can pre-purchase your ticket online and then skip the long first queue.
You first go up to the 2nd floor with lift. The views are amazing. We took many photo’s and had a coffee with muffins before we went to the next line for the summit lift.
Now you are very high up. I think it is 235m up. Amazing to see. Loads of history too. We walked round and then found a window selling Champaign. The price is crazy, but worth it. See our first photo. You never know when you will have another opportunity like that.

On your way down you can stop over on the 1st floor. So we did that. There is much more info on the history and activity available here and space to move around. So we had more coffee and the kids had slash Puppy.
What an amazing experience. I am very grateful for the opportunity and highly recommend everyone do it when in Paris.
