Well this brings back memories! Last time I slept overnight in London Stansted I was around 21, returning from a 3-month solo trip in SE Asia, and there was a 24-hr Spar (also a bar, where have they gone?!! 😭) where I procured a half bottle of vodka and ended up randomly befriending other travellers also kipping overnight at the airport (Jade! 😁)
They won't let me go airside until 3am so I'm making do landside with a selection of M&S's finest alcohol (gotta stave off the cold of the floor somehow!). Honourable mention to easyJet for their most excellent prosecco deal on the way down and saving me from sobriety 👍 I'm far too old to sleep on airport floors sober anymore.
