So the next day i did go to Mercado 4, Market 4, with the aim to aquire swiming pants, idealy some socks, underwear, maybe a pair of shorts. It is a bustling place along Petirossi, sprawling into the sideroads and seamelessly connecting to indoor stores. Didnt take a lot of pictures sadly, espacialy in the busier areas didnt feel like getting out my phone, one place i even saw a sign saying not to film in spanish so (espacialy after what happened the last day, though that was a busy place, many people, nobodies going to actualy try something there if we are honest with that many witnesses)... But quite a bustling place, very interesting.
Some places people grilling and selling those goods in those tents, some places people crushing herbs with a mortar and pestle on the sidewalk to sell, quite interesting atmosphere.
I ended up only finding swimming pants, was the most important anyways, socks in my size, 45 (tharts german i.e. centimeters, not inches lol im not a natural born clown) are appearently quite hard to come by.
Yes, the sidewalk is built over with space to sell. Im sure i couldve found quite a few nice things there if i didnt allready have way to much to carry without a permanent place to stay yet.
On the way back i got caught up in a thunderstorm, all my clothes aside my new bathing pants drenched. Walked a bit to far in the rain, too, lost my way with my glasses covered in rain.
But its okay - next morning i put my clothes out besides the pool and tried my swimming pants. Had a nice last day, packed everything up (though it appears i forgot the charger for my phone) and prepared for the continuation of my travels through the night, taking the taxi to the Bus Terminal around 21:00.
