Me and my high school friends decided to have a getaway in Camotes Island also known as the "Lost Horizon of the South".
How we got there? From Mactan Island we ride on a fast craft for a one-way fare of Php 350/person. The Jomalia Shipping's fast craft is located at the back of Island Central Mall in Lapu-lapu City.
We decided to stay at Santiago Bay Beach, a public beach with a long white-sand shoreline. You can also put up tents and stay overnight. Payment fee for larger ones is php 150 and 100 for smaller sizes.

Here's the view of Santiago Bay Beach. The powdery white sands stretches for almost a kilometer.
