Ripped down to the land down under, we took an amazing, but short, camping trip the Otway National Park. It's in Victoria, about 3 hours from Melbourne, the big must-see over there is a breath-taking coastal cliff formation known as the twelve apostles.
Absolutely stunning these formations are formed by the wear and tear of the rugged see creating inundations in the coast line that gradually hollow into caves, then into arches which eventually collapse into the ocean leaving isolated towering pillars.
While the name invokes a some sense of rugged mystery the truth is there are only 8 pillars remaining of the OG 12. As the ocean continues to exige its power and take down the apostles new pillars will continue to form by the same method with time.
