The Sagrada Familia, set to be the world's tallest church, IF they ever finish it. It was funded by the Catalan industrial boom and born out of their own architectural renaissance (Renaixença). It's been under construction since 1883 and they shoot to finish it by 2026, exactly 100 years since the death of the chief architect, Antoni Gaudi. After Gaudi's death the church survived the civil war, the original plans being destroyed during the chaos, the basilica was repaired and new designs had to be made that would do justice to the master's dreams.
