So today we found ourselves in Fort William, a busy but very beautiful town just an hours drive from Oban. It has one special fearure...Ben Nevis.

We arrived at the Ben Nevis visitor centre after a long drive through past another loch!
The scenery is truly breathtaking. We drove over two large bridges that overlooked the waters.
When we arrived we found the little visitor centre which was as you would expect, full of hiking equiment and souvenieurs.
I thought about buying a tshirt that said I climbed ben nevis but knew no-one would believe me.
We were dissapointed that there were no cable cars, as we had seen videos on you tube. Apparrently the cable cars were on a neighbouring mountain!
Anyway here are some pics. Unfortunately I couldnt place the mountain in a photograph as its a little bit big....so you will have to use your imagination....
